Kelsall Hill Small Pony Premier Round-Up

Last weekend saw ponies and their riders return to Kelsall Hill Equestrian Centre for an action packed small Pony Premier Show, the penultimate one in the calendar.
Saturday’s Winter 128cm qualifier saw 17 combinations come forward and deliver an exciting finish. Mia Bella Long riding Rathcoole Rupert secured first place with a faultless performance, ahead of Chloe Capper and Doneens Electric in second. Third place went to Millie May Prater aboard Derrymore Rambler after a competitive round.
In the Saturday Winter 138cm qualifier, 16 combinations came forward to contest for their ticket to the final. Fenella Adams and Croesiolyn Cusan claimed top honours with an impressive double clear. Mila Henderson partnered Ephese De Tassine to take second place, while Jack Rimell and Bingo Bong completed the podium in third after a determined performance.
The Saturday 128cm/138cm Handicap Class saw a strong field of 20 starters. Oliver Browning riding One In a Million VI delivered the fastest double clear of the class in 30.17 seconds to take victory from the 128cm section. Kiki Arthur and Schiernsees Cypress Hill finished second, while Michael Kelly and Ryehall Belle Couture secured third in another tightly fought result.
Sunday’s Winter 128cm qualifying class drew 21 starters and continued the high standard of competition. Harry Williams and Desirless D’argan claimed the win with a superb round, followed by Amelia Phillips and Moyralla Bob in second. Chloe Capper added another placing to her weekend tally, finishing third with My Little Liesel.
In Sundays Winter 138cm qualifying class, Olivia Lewington and Mister Proper produced a winning performance to stand top of the podium. Lucy Smith and Mullagh Pride finished in second place, while Eleanor Townsend and Bella IC took third after a competitive class.
The show concluded with Sunday’s 128cm/138cm Handicap Class, which attracted 22 starters. Tilly Rose Simpson and Mayfly Black Pennel secured victory with a stylish double clear in 30.41 seconds. Connor Barnes and The Silver Horse finished second, and Harriet Beaver with Bureside Personality completed the top three, rounding off a fantastic weekend of sport at Kelsall Hill.
