British Showjumping and British Dressage, in partnership with the BEF, are able to offer face to face workshops for people working within the equestrian industry to help them understand the issues involved in safeguarding children, young people and adults at risk.
The course outlines the issues involved in safeguarding children, young people and adults at risk, as well as the signs and indicators that may show that someone is at risk of significant harm. Participants will also become aware of their legal and moral responsibilities and will be given guidance on how to respond to concerns.
Participants who complete the course will receive a Safeguarding in Equestrian Sport Qualification. This qualification is valid for three years and can go towards the requirements needed to undergo a Coaching Certificate such as the BSCC.
The face to face workshop will cost £30 per person and is a 3 hour long classroom based workshop.
Unfortunately there are not currently any Safeguarding Workshops running.
More information & New dates will be updated here in due course.
