Danielle Cutter Honoured at the British Showjumping Awards Ball

Friday 23 October 2026

The Northern Region’s Danielle Cutter was amongst those honoured at the recent British Showjumping Awards Ball. Danielle, who Co-ordinates the Durham and Cleveland Academy, was recognised for the great work she has done over the last few years in building a robust and thriving example of the Academy model in the North.

With a regular programme of sessions and activities on offer throughout the year, including ridden coaching and stable management - as well as sessions designed to provide insight into other areas of the sport – the Durham and Cleveland Academy also hosts an annual visit from a top rider to coach and present a lecture demonstration.

And that’s not all, Durham and Cleveland have managed a consistently strong showing at the Academy Championships at Stoneleigh, taking away a fantastic haul of ribbons each year, and Danielle is also intrinsically involved in the running of the Regional Academy Show in the North.

British Showjumping chose this year’s Awards Ball to shine a spotlight on those who enable Academy activity, and together with Danielle, Katie Smith and Juliet Waller were also presented with similar awards.
