Samantha Jimmison Triumphed in the KBIS Insurance Senior British Novice Second Round at Willow Bank Equestrian Centre

Samantha Jimmison from Doncaster, South Yorkshire triumphed in the KBIS Insurance Senior British Novice Second Round at Willow Bank Equestrian Centre in Lincolnshire on Sunday, aboard Rachel Evison’s Carlensky.

Thirty-one competitors tackled the first round all with the hope of a qualification place in the KBIS Insurance Senior British Novice Final which is set to take place this summer during the British Showjumping National Championships. With ten combinations going on the produce a treble clears, Samantha proved the quickest on the six-year-old mare Carlensky.

Lucy Wilson from Wetherby, West Yorkshire  took second on Zarcolas, a British-bred eight-year-old gelding by the stallion Marcolas G, winner of the 2007 Foxhunter Final at  Horse of the Year Show with Simon Nicholson.

Kirsty Annable from Ilkeston, Derbyshire who finished in third place on the seven-year-old mare Secret Star II with Matthew Yates in fourth on Peter Banks’ Shannodale SOS, a five-year-old by Shannondale Sarco St Ghyvan – also sire of Holly Gillot’s potential star Grennanstown Sarco Luxhill.

A total of ten combinations achieved a treble clear and now go forward to the KBIS Insurance Senior British Novice Championship Final.
