Laura Hutt Triumphs in the Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery Second Round at the Scottish National Equestrian Centre

Laura Hutt from Kinross, Perthshire triumphed in the Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery Second Round on board her own Robin II at the Scottish National Equestrian Centre.
Twenty-seven riders set their sights on gaining a treble clear that would give them a sought after qualification place for the Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery Final held at the British Showjumping National Championships in August, with just thirteen reaching the third and final round to go against the clock.
Laura had the win sewn up early, taking an unbeatable lead in the second draw for a 1.29 sec victory on Robin II, a Ben Nevis sired 6-year-old mare she has produced in competition for 12 months.
Iain Warnock from Strathaven, Lancashire made a midway challenge with the British-bred 6-year-old gelding Arsouilles Micky Finn to take second place and Leona Urquhart from Glasgow, Lanarkshire eased the eight-year-old mare Conga Van De Neerheide into third.
With another four combinations also achieving a treble clear, a total of seven combinations now go forward to the Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery Championship Final.

The British Showjumping National Championships 2016 will take place during the 9th – 14th August at the National Agricultural and Exhibition Centre (NAEC), Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire.
