Gillian Anderson Headed the Silver League Qualifier at Muirmill Equestrian Centre

Gillian Anderson headed the Silver League qualifier in fine style on Congeniality B at Muirmill Equestrian Centre to guarantee a place in the semi-final which take place at the British Showjumping National Championships in August.  It is one step closer to the ultimate goal of qualifying for the Horse of the Year Show at the NEC, Birmingham, in October.

Thirty-nine competitors initially chased the three qualifying places, with sixteen jumping first round clears to reach the jump-off.   Gillian from Stathaven, Lanarkshire used her penultimate draw to maximum effect on Congeniality B, a nine-year-old Quinar x Carthago Z mare she has ridden for four years, to take the win by an impressive 2.51 seconds.

Alexandra Moorhouse from Stockton-on Tees-, Cleveland who claimed second place on board Hamilton H, a 12-year-old gelding she first competed in March this year.   

Leona Urqhart from Glasgow, Lanarkshire took third on her Lancaster V x Chamberlain 12-year-old mare Extreem Van De Neerheide.
