New Academy Lead for Lancashire and Cheshire!
Tuesday 16 June 2026

We are delighted to announce that Eve Hare (nee Staveley) has agreed to take on the role of Lead Coach for the British Showjumping Lancashire and Cheshire Academy.
Recognised as one of the leading talents in the coaching field, Eve is a UKCC Level 4 Coach, has an MSc in Sports Coaching and has jumped Internationally, including being a Member of the Bronze Medal winning team at last year’s CSI-V Championships in Italy, where she also finished 5th individually.
As we look towards the Academy Championships in August, Eve will be setting a schedule of sessions to prepare riders with that goal in mind – and is looking forward to meeting all our Academy Members in the very near future (details of planned sessions will be featured on the British Showjumping via https://www.britishshowjumping.co.uk/training/Academies-1 where further details of the British Showjumping network of Academies can be found).
Eve will be supported by Level 2 Coaches from the Region, who will help deliver a varied and beneficial programme of activities. The Academy is open to all British Showjumping Members up to the age of 21, who are resident in Cheshire and Lancashire, and by arrangement, those who may be considering Membership in the near future.
