TRETORN YOUNG RIDERS WIN MOORSELE NATIONS CUP

After a nail biting two rounds Great Britain found themselves tying with the Netherlands for first place which meant the excitement continued into a further jump off. With the Netherlands drawn first to go
and completing on a total of eight faults the Great Britain team knew exactly what was needed of them and excelled themselves finishing on a total of four faults to win the first Young Rider Nations Cup of the season in fine style..
The Tretorn team consisted of :-
Emily Davies from Clevedon, Avon riding Cougar II, Philippa Dobby from Ormskirk, Lancashire, Joe Davison from Uttoxeter, Staffordshire riding Egano Star and Sam Hutton from Southampton, Hampshire riding Astral 57.
The riders also competed in Individual competitions during their time in Moorsele and Sam Hutton with Top Limit won a Two Phase competition with Emily Davies and Traferro in second place and Philippa Dobby and Utah VII in third. Sam Hutton and Top Limit also won a 1.30m Table A with Jump Off.
Our Junior team member Carian Scudamore from Cardigan, Dyfed finished second in the Junior Grand Prix riding Larino 0087 barely three tenths of a second behind Hanna Klensmeden of Sweden
Tretorn was founded in 1891 by Johan Dunker in Helsingborg, Sweden. In 1904 Tretorn was manufacturing around one million rubberboots a year. The manufacturing of rubberboots and tennis balls continued until 1991 in Helsingborg, when they moved the production overseas, to Poland and other countries. Tretorn is today one of the leading manufacturers of rubberboots in Scandinavia and as well the third biggest producer in Europe of tennis balls. Tretorn riding boot was launched during 2007. Tretorn is today owned by PUMA AG.
