Scarlett Thornton scoops the Equissage Pulse Senior British Novice Second Round at The Suffolk Equestrian Centre

Jumping in to first place in the Equissgae Pulse Senior British Novice Second Round at The Suffolk Equestrian Centre on Saturday was Scarlett Thornton from Knebworth, Hertfordshire riding Jester VII, a 12 year-old bay gelding owed by Rosalind Thornton.
With a field of fifty determined riders, the first two rounds were closely contested with just twelve combinations making it through to the final jump off. Scarlett proved to have speed and accuracy on her side as she became the only rider to break the 40 second barrier to secure the win, crossing the finish line with a triple clear in 36.18 seconds.
