Newmilns Show Host a Tri-Zone Airlite Senior Discovery Regional Final

Newmilns Show was held this weekend at Loudoun Castle in Galston, Ayrshire on Saturday 1st June 2013 and a Tri-Zone Airlite Senior Discovery Regional Final formed an important part of the show. The regional final saw 20 eligible combinations come forward to compete.
From the starters, only 2 combinations went on to produce the treble clear required to qualify for the Tri-Zone Airlite Senior Discovery Championship Final, which will be held at the Alexanders Horseboxes British Showjumping Scope Festival (25th – 31st August 2013).
First place was taken by 24 year-old Claire McNaughton from Lasswade, Lothian. Claire rode Warhol Wulfselection Z, a 7 year-old bay gelding owned by Marjory McNaughton, to victory after completing her treble clear in a time of 54.77 seconds.
Finishing in second place was 21 year-old Laura Graham from Penrith, Cumbria and she was on board her own 7 year-old brown mare, Bordergrove Las Vegas. This combination produced their treble clear in a time of 57.88 seconds.

The Alexanders Horseboxes British Showjumping Scope Festival 2013 will take place from the 25th – 31st August 2013 at Staffordshire County Showground.
