JESSICA MENDOZA QUALIFIES FOR THE 2009 JOHN WHITAKER INTERNATIONAL WINTER JA CLASSIC

Twelve year old Jessica Mendoza from Chippenham, Wiltshire took first place in the John Whitaker International Winter JA Classic Qualifier, held at The College Equestrian Centre in Keysoe, booking her place in the 2009 Final to be held at The Royal Show in the summer.

 

Jessica riding Sarah Mendoza’s eleven year old chestnut mare Tixylix jumped double clear in a jump off time of 35.84 seconds. Jordan Nason from Doncaster took second place riding Regan Willett’s twenty four year old palomino gelding Gold Harvest. Jordan had four faults in a jump off time of 32.34 seconds. Graham Gillespie from Alexandria, Dunbartonshire took third place riding Beth Gillespie’s fifteen year old chestnut gelding Tequila Sunrise II. Graham had four faults in a jump off time of 33.88 seconds securing their place in the final. Forth place went to Laura Pritchard riding Tracy Pritchard’s twelve year old grey gelding Baussy Jones securing their place in the final.
