Haddon Training Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence; Equestrian Athlete 2020 (AASE 2020)

Haddon Training are recruiting for a new group of talented young equestrian athletes to join the elite AASE programme for 2020.

Applications are open for participants across British Eventing, British Dressage, British Showjumping, Para-Dressage and Para-Showjumping, who would like the opportunity to progress in their sport.

The Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence is tailored around the equestrian Olympic disciplines ensuring that top equestrian athletes are starting on the right path to exceed and excel in their chosen career.

Chris Hewlett, Founder and Managing Director of Haddon Training says, “I am thrilled that these disciplines have joined together to promote and develop their talent base through our AASE programme. “For seven years the programme has produced outstanding performances from individuals, many of whom have gone on to be hugely successful both as riders and the development of their own businesses.”

With coaching by world-class trainers such as Andrew Saywell, Heike Holstein and Charlie Hutton, places are limited and in high demand.

International Showjumper and World Class Trainer Andrew Saywell coaches on the AASE programme and explains, “AASE is a springboard to riders who aspire to perform at top level by providing access to a range of vocational experts and training from internationally acclaimed coaches.”

The 2020 programme is expected to begin this summer and as part of the pathway applicants will have access to a number of training camps throughout the year, as well working towards a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence.  This includes learning a range of additional skills including career planning, physical health, performance psychology, communication and managing the media.

AASE is proudly delivered by Haddon Training in direct partnership with British Dressage, Para-Dressage, British Eventing, British Showjumping and Para-Showjumping.

Applications are open until the end of July.  To apply visit the AASE section on the Haddon Training website which can be found at www.haddontraining.co.uk
