Great Britain jump on home soil at the UK leg of the FEI Meydan Nations Cup

 
The 2010 Hickstead Meydan FEI Nations Cup will take place tomorrow at 13:45 in the grounds of the world famous All England Jumping Course, Hickstead in West Sussex.
 
The horse and rider combinations which will represent Great Britain in the UK leg of the series are as follows:
 
Peter Charles from Alton, Hampshire with the ever consistent Murka’s Pom d’Ami who is jointly owned by Olga White and Team Murka Ltd. This partnership have been the mainstay of the British Team throughout the 2010 Meydan FEI Nations Cup series.
 
Oxfordshire based Tina Fletcher will ride the 11 year old chestnut gelding Hello Sailor who is owned by Lady Pauline Harris. This will be their second appearance at a top level Nations Cup with the first being at Falsterbo where they jumped clear in the first round but had an unlucky time fault in the second.
 
William Funnell from Dorking, Surrey will partner the Billy Studs British Bred 9 year old brown stallion Billy Congo. This will be the combinations second Top Level Nations Cup appearance with the first being in Falsterbo.
 
Nottinghamshire based Michael Whitaker will ride the 10 year old dark bay gelding GIG Amai II who is owned by Beatrice Mertens. Michael is currently lying third on the GBR Ranking List and have also been consistent team members within the Meydan FEI Nations Cup series.
 
The order of jumping has now been drawn with the British Team jumping in sixth position. Great Britain currently sit in fourth place on the league table going into this the seventh leg of the competition before the final competition of the series in Dublin.
 
The Hickstead Meydan FEI Nations Cup will be streamed online by FEI TV (www.feitv.org) at 13:45 tomorrow (30th July)
