Falsterbo Meydan FEI Nations Cup Team Announced

The four riders who will represent Great Britain today in the Falsterbo Meydan FEI Nations Cup, are as follows.
Dorking based William Funnell will be the British pathfinder riding the Billy Stud’s nine year British Bred brown stallion Billy Congo who will be making his debut at this level having previously been a team member of the Promotional League Nations Cup team that went out to Lisbon in May.
Next to jump for Great Britain will be Hampshire based Mark Armstrong riding his and his wife’s (Emma) fourteen year old bay mare Thesaura. Mark and Thesaura are making their second appearance this year having been part of the first team out at La Baule within the Meydan FEI Nations Cup series in May.
Tina Fletcher from Faringdon, Oxfordshire will be third to jump for Great Britain riding Lady Pauline Harris’ eleven year old chestnut gelding Hello Sailor. Tina and Hello Sailor made their first appearance this year at the Promotional League Nations Cup in Linz.
Anchorman will be Northampton based Tim Stockdale partnering Colin Garratt’s nine year old bay gelding Fresh Direct Kalico Bay. This is Kalico Bay’s first appearance at Top Level Nations Cup competition having proved himself at the Promotional League Nations Cup in Lisbon.
Great Britain has been drawn seventh to go, and currently lie in second place on the Meydan FEI Nations Cup Leaderboard with France taking pole position.
The Falsterbo Meydan FEI Nations Cup takes place this afternoon at 13:30 and will be streamed online by FEI TV (www.feitv.org). The Grand Prix will take place on Sunday 11th July at 14.00.
