British Showjumping to Observe a Two-Minute Silence on Saturday

British Showjumping will be observing a two-minute silence at 12:00 noon on Saturday across our competitions, where possible, in memory of Sophie Fouracre and Kerry Donoghue, who tragically lost their lives in separate eventing incidents last weekend.

Sophie and Kerry were both valued members of British Showjumping, and their loss has been deeply felt across the equestrian community. As a mark of respect, British Showjumping will join British Eventing, where a two-minute silence will also be observed across all competitions taking place on Saturday.

We recognise that this has been an incredibly difficult time for many within our sport and the wider equestrian community. Our thoughts remain with the families, friends, fellow competitors and everyone who knew and loved Sophie and Kerry.

We kindly ask all competitors, officials, volunteers and spectators to join us in observing the silence where it is possible to do so, as we come together to remember two much-loved members of our community.
