BLUE CHIP PONY NEWCOMERS FIRST TWO QUALIFIERS

Thomas Plaster and Anna Wilks took the first two qualifying places for the 2010 Horse of the Year Show Blue Chip Feed Balancer Pony Newcomers Championship at South View Pony Premier show on 15th May 2010.
Fifteen year old Thomas Plaster from Chigwell, Essex riding Mrs Amy Chitty’s Amilie Jr Z, an 8 year old 14.2hh grey mare jumped three foot perfect clear rounds, the final one in 40.82 seconds to win his ticket to Horse of the Year Show by almost 4 seconds. A delighted Thomas
and Amilie Jr Z also went on to take first place in the Pony Foxhunter less than two hours later, a feat he will surely wish to emulate at HOYS in October
Second prize and the other qualifying place went to 13 year old Anna Wilks from Henley on Thames, Oxon riding her mothers Monbeg Hero an 8 year old ,14.1hh roan gelding who again jumped three superb clear rounds, the final one in 44.64 seconds.

All five of the above ponies qualify for the Cushionbed British Showjumping Scope Festival at Stafford County Showground from 29th August to 4th September 2010.
