Monday 15 August 2011

The eighth leg of the Global Champions Tour for 2011 took place in Valkenswaard, Netherlands this weekend.

Riding Rowena Gredley’s fifteen year old bay stallion B F Utopia Ben was drawn ninth to go out of nineteen starters. With only one clear ahead of him Ben knew he had to jump a quick clear to be in with a chance of picking up the top spot. Doing just that he jumped a superb clear in an unbeatable time of 115.62 seconds, over a second quicker than second placed Wout-Jan van der Schans from the Netherlands.
