Wednesday 19 May 2010

Adam Ellery from Talskiddy near St Columb in Cornwall made his long journey to Dorset Showground well worthwhile when he won the Equissage Discovery Regional Final . Adam riding Mrs Sandra Gummow’s 16.1hh, 6 year old bay mare Zastra was last to go in the second and final jump off and knew exactly what he had to do, cutting every corner he finished almost a second ahead of second placed, 21 year old, James Johnson from Teignmouth, Devon riding Marion Clark’s Zsa Zsa L Amour another 6 year old bay mare. Adam also finished third on another of Sandra Gummow’s horses Arendsoog B but only Zastra qualified for the final at the Cushionbed British Showjumping Scope Festival at Stafford County Showground from 29th August to 4th September 2010.
