Team NAF's Children on Horses Team finish fifth in Zuidwolde

The Children on Horses Nations Cup competition took place today at Zuidwolde CSIO youth show. Great Britain were one of ten teams to come forward to tackle the 1.30m course and were given the draw of sixth to go. The team, sponsored by NAF, completed on a combined score of 9 faults following the two rounds of jumping to finish in fifth place.
Chloe Mae Morris, aged 13 years from Harpenden in Hertfordshire was first out for Great Britain with the 10 year old bay mare Heidiemorka, owned by Emma Ziff. They posted a score of 10 faults in the first round and 4 faults in the second round.
Next up was Rosie Campbell, aged 12 years from Moreton-In-Marsh in Gloucestershire with the 12 year-old bay mare Appy Du Chalet, owned by Lucinda Campbell. They added a score of 5 faults in the first round, followed by a clear in the second round.
Angel Sheridan, aged 13 years from Manchester, with the 10 year old bay gelding Dam Dam, owned by Anthony Sheriden, lowered one pole in the first round followed by a clear in the second round.
Noora von Bülow, aged 13 years from London with the 12 year-old mare Lucky Lisa, owned by Sharifa Al-Homaizi, posted the best score for the Brits with the sole double clear.
The top three teams all finished on a clean sheet with a zero score after the initial two rounds to proceed to the jump off where time was the deciding factor. It was Netherlands who came out on top, followed by Italy in second and Germany in third place.
