Pony Discovery Second Round at Cherwell Competition Centre

In a closely fought Pony Discovery Second Round at Cherwell Competition Centre in Old Marston, Oxford, Jenna Good and Anoushka Mauree finished in joint first place.

Fourteen year-old Jenna Good from Farnham, Surrey jumped Trewithian Hawkeweed, an 8 year-old dun gelding owned by Kirsten Good to a clear round in 40.04 seconds. Anoushka Mauree, aged 13, from Newbury, Berkshire delivered a treble clear on board Cnoc Mordan Blackie, a 10 year-old iron grey gelding owned by Arlina Mauree in 40.04 seconds to join Jenna in first place.

Both combinations have secured a place in the Pony Discovery Final which will be held at the British Showjumping National Championships in August, along with the ponies and riders sitting in third to tenth place.

8th Chloe Durnall & Reneharney Silver Boy – 0/0/4 – 57.10 seconds

9th Millicent Stennett & Raclaghy Sara – 0/0/8 – 50.48 seconds

10th Amelia Barton & Badgerhill Melody – 0/4 – 46.91 seconds
