Laura Mundy takes top spot in the KBIS Insurance Senior British Novice Second Round at Tushingham Arena

With three clear rounds of showjumping under her belt, Laura Munday took top spot in the KBIS Insurance Senior British Novice Second Round which took place at Tushingham Arena in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
A determined field of thirty-eight starters began the class with high hopes of claiming a place in the KBIS Insurance Senior British Novice Championship Final which is to be held at the British Showjumping National Championships in August. All starters were looking to achieve a sought after treble clear as this would secure their qualification place.
Laura from Bolton, Lancashire took her place in the jump off riding her 9 year-old bay mare Newmarket Appeal. As one of the ten combinations through to the final round, this pair kept their eye on the clock as they jumped yet another clear round in just 38.94 seconds to take the win.
With another six combinations also achieving a treble clear, a total of seven combinations now go forward to the KBIS Insurance Senior British Novice Second Rounds Final.

The British Showjumping National Championships 2018 will be hosted at the National Agricultural and Exhibition Centre (NAEC), Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire during the 7th - 12th August.
