Adrian Speight takes victory in the Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery Second Round at Cherwell Competition Centre

Delivering three foot perfect rounds, Adrian Speight stormed to victory in this week’s Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery Second Round which took place at Cherwell Competition Centre in Old Marston, Oxford.

A huge field of eight-seven competitors began the class with high hopes of claiming a place in the Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery Championship Final, which will be held during the British Showjumping National Championships in August. All starters were looking to achieve a sought after treble clear as this would secure their qualification place.

Adrian travelled from Grimsby in South Humberside with Suzanne Walker’s 9 year-old grey gelding, Ringwood Cookie and this pair proved to be on winning form. Cruising through the first two rounds, this combination took their place in the final jump off along with thirty-one other competitors. Adrian went into the jump off with his eye on the clock and delivered a fantastic treble clear stopping the clock in 39.03 seconds.

With another fifteen combinations also achieving a treble clear, a total of sixteen combinations now go forward to the Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery Championship Final.
