John Whitaker & Argento win in Stockholm

Last night, Friday 25 November, saw the legendary John Whitaker with his own and wife Clare’s 14 year-old Argento win the CSI4* 1.45m Two Phase in Stockholm.

The field of eighteen strong saw nine finish both rounds with a zero penalty score, but it was John and the in-form Argento who were the trailblazers with their finish time of 35.57 seconds ahead of Angelie von Essen and Newton Abbot for Sweden who sat just slightly behind in a time of 36.82 seconds to finish in 2nd place.   Olivier Phillippaerts for Belgium took 3rd with H&M Forever D’Arco ter Linden.  Full results http://bit.ly/2g41OI6

Earlier in the day John had also made in appearance in the 1.40m Two Phase class with a 4th place finish on Echo of Light, an 11 year-old gelding owned by Team Harmony.  Saturday afternoons 1.50m speed class saw John & Argento finish 4th with their time of 60.42 seconds behind Bertram Allen and Molly Malone V for Ireland who won with a time of 58.37 seconds.  Results http://bit.ly/2gKvcnP
