Hickstead press statement: Amanda Derbyshire

British team rider Amanda Derbyshire was involved in a riding fall in today’s Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ of Great Britain. Riding Roulette BH, the pair fell at the water jump.

Amanda received an injury to her face, caused by the peak of her riding hat. She was taken to the nearby Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton to be checked over.

Roulette BH got straight up from his fall and walked onto the horse ambulance. He is being observed by Sussex Equine Hospital Vets.
