The opening day at the CSI 2* Chepstow Show at the David Broome Centre saw Harriet Nuttall win the Medium Tour 1.35m two-phase class with Highland Cruiser who is owned by Rupert Nuttall.   Hot on her heels was Jay Halim who stopped the clock just 0.26 seconds slower on his own Abrisco whilst Keith Shore on Joanna & Charlotta Sundblad's Coriander Van't Vennehof slotted into 3rd place.

It was Sally Hopkinson with Canute who secured the 1.30m Small Tour.  It was less than a second that separated the top two places when Keith Shore broke the finish line just half a second slower riding Springs Equestrian Partnerships mare Zegreanne Z.  Abbie Crippen took 3rd place on Helen West's  Vilka B.
