British Showjumping’s Team Cavalor Announced for Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup Final

Following an invitation to compete in the CSIO 5* Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup Final, the following squad have been selected to represent Great Britain under the title sponsor banner of Team Cavalor. The competition takes place between the 22 – 25 September 2016 at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain.
Scott Brash from Peebles with Ursula XII, a 16 year-old bay mare owned by Lady Pauline Kirkham and Lady Pauline Harris
Nick Skelton from Alcester, Warwickshire with the 13 year-old bay stallion Big Star owned by Beverley Widdowson. This will be their first appearance since their spectacular Individual Gold medal win at the Rio Olympic Games last month
Tim Stockdale from Roade, Northamptonshire with Fleur de L’Aube, an 11 year-old bay mare owned by Marjorie and Clark Glasgow
John Whitaker from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire with Ornellaia, an 11 year-old bay mare owned by Team Harmony. John and Ornellaia were a member of the team that competed at the Rio Olympic Games
Michael Whitaker from Whatton, Nottinghamshire with his own 14 year-old chestnut gelding, Viking V
The Nations Cup competition takes place on Friday 23rd September at 16:00 hrs local time and the Final competition will be on Saturday 24th September at 21:00 hrs. The Grand Prix takes place at 15:00 hours local time on Sunday 25th September. The Chef d’Equipe accompanying the team will be World Class Performance Manager for Showjumping, Di Lampard.
