Madison Heath and Dakota I Claim Redpost Foxhunter Victory at South View

The Redpost Equestrian Senior Foxhunter Second Round at South View Equestrian Centre produced a thrilling day of competition at the weekend, with 38 rider combinations coming forward to tackle Neil Foster’s demanding course. 

The technical track tested riders from start to finish, with only nine combinations managing to jump clear in both opening rounds to secure a place in the jump-off. 

With the pressure on in the final phase, it was Madison Heath riding Sarah Williams’ Dakota I who delivered the winning performance. Producing a fast and accurate clear round, the pair crossed the finish line in 37.02 seconds to take the top spot. 

Hot on their heels was Samantha Wiseman aboard Quinteros My Popular, who also jumped a superb clear in the jump-off to claim second place in a time of 37.23 seconds. 

Third place went to Sophie Hillier riding Nice Star B, with another stylish faultless performance stopping the clock at 37.70 seconds. 

Attention will now turn towards the Masters at the British Showjumping National Championships in August, ahead of the highly anticipated final at the Horse of the Year Show in October, where qualified combinations will compete for one of the sport’s most prestigious titles.
