First for Wolverhampton Racecourse

On the 21st of May 2011 Wolverhampton Racecourse held their first British Showjjumping Fixture with over £9,900 prize fund. There was over 165 horses onsite and over 220 entries.
The riders that jumped at the event were all pleased with the ground, Tim Stockdale said “Full Marks to the organisers, the ground was first class, I would not have bought my top horses if it was anything less”.
This event was just the first in a series of British Showjumping competitions at Wolverhampton Racecourse, for further information visit www.wolverhampton-racecourse.co.uk . The results for the Elite Showjumping at Wolverhampton Racecourse are as follows:

David Roberts The Managing Director of Wolverhampton Racecourse LTD has said
“Its been a long held ambition for Wolverhampton Racecourse to host other equine events and we are delighted with the success of our first British ShowJumping competition. In particular the quantity and quality of the entries we received, and also the enthusiasm in which the event was received. We are looking forward to continuing this summer with the events planned and in the future to expand our facilities further”
