Nineteen year old Reece Oliver from Southampton won the Tri-Zone Newcomers second round, at South West Showjumping Club’s recent fixture at Bicton Arena, riding his own 8 year old bay mare Veroniek II and in doing so qualified for the Championship at the Horse of the Year Show 2011.
The second qualifying place went to Justin Tuff from Totnes, Devon who finished in second place, riding James & Raymond Pinkney’s Son of India a 6 year old dark bay gelding by Gem of India who completed a clear round in the jump off less than half a second behind the winner.

The first five combinations also qualified to compete at the Cushionbed British Showjumping Scope Festival being held at Stafford County Showground from 29th August to 4th September 2010.
