TRETORN JUNIORS SHOW THE WAY

The Tretorn Junior Squad members took four of the top seven spots in the Junior Grand Prix at CSIJ Bonheiden, Belgium yesterday.
With only three riders managing a clear in the first round over a technical track, 16 year old Pippa Allen rode her father Peter Allen’s 9 year old bay gelding Bonfire III into second spot after having an unfortunate 4 faults in the second round.
Carian Scudamore 16 years old riding her father Nigel Scudamore’s 10 year old bay mare Angel III took fifth spot having an unfortunate 4 faults in the first round, with Donald Whitaker taking sixth place with Miss T Wilkins 9 year old bay gelding Helix Z and 17 year old Alison Barton riding her father Richard Barton’s 15 year old bay gelding Saffier van de Brandkreek into seventh place.

Tretorn was founded in 1891 by Johan Dunker in Helsingborg, Sweden. In 1904 Tretorn was manufacturing around one million rubberboots a year. The manufacturing of rubberboots and tennis balls continued until 1991 in Helsingborg, when they moved the production overseas, to Poland and other countries. Tretorn is today one of the leading manufacturers of rubberboots in Scandinavia and as well the third biggest producer in Europe of tennis balls. Tretorn riding boot was launched during 2007. Tretorn is today owned by PUMA AG.
