Tickets on sale now for spectacular LGCT of London!

The unique venue of Royal Hospital Chelsea in London will once again stage the spectacular Longines Global Champions Tour and GCL from 14 - 16 August 2020 featuring the world’s greatest show jumping riders and horses.

The sport’s top rider and equine talent will be lining up to compete in the high octane Longines Global Champions Tour and GCL individual and team competitions at the historic home of the much-loved Chelsea Pensioners.

Fans packed the grandstands last year to watch an amazing showdown between the two British Olympic gold medallists, Ben Maher and Scott Brash. Maher ultimately emerged victorious in the LGCT Grand Prix of London last summer, and received a standing ovation at the sensational prize-giving ceremony attended by the Chelsea Pensioners and the Household Cavalry.

A host of celebrities attended the event in 2019, including TV presenter Clare Balding, who said: “It’s the perfect location. I love that in taking show jumping into major cities like this, so many more people have the chance to watch it. I could sit and watch Ben and Scott ride all day long. If I was 20 and starting again it is what I would want to be doing, the Global Champions Tour. It is perfect taking it to all these really glamorous locations, the standard of the horses is really high and I think it is a very modern way of doing a very traditional sport.”

With the innovative and dynamic GCL team competition hitting full throttle as teams compete in the heart of the UK's capital, the home city team, London Knights, will be looking for local support as they fight for valuable points to help them defend their 2019 Championship title.

Don’t miss this chance to book your tickets to see the stars of show jumping in the British capital this summer for this exciting, top-level equestrian extravaganza.

The riders will have been battling for the all-important podium placings since the season opener in Doha, Qatar, as the series travels to Mexico City, Miami Beach, Shanghai and to Europe before arriving in London in August. All the riders have their sights set on the ultimate goal of the GC Prague Playoffs this November.

Families will enjoy a fantastic day out at this superb venue which will include a lively shopping village, refreshment areas and kids’ activities. Visitors also benefit from unique access to the warm-up arena to see the world’s best horse and rider combinations preparing for competition. This is a truly unique opportunity to see the greatest horses and riders in the world up close and in action at the home of the Chelsea Pensioners, with world-class competition every afternoon!

Tickets for seats in the covered grandstands are now on sale along with tickets for the chic GC Lounge with fantastic views from dedicated seating, and a complimentary drink on arrival. General admission tickets are also available, giving access to the whole show ground and shopping village, as well as to uncovered seating in the North Tribune on a first come, first served basis.
