The National Senior Riders Championship goes to Suzanne Gill and Intenable Du Forgeron

The National Senior Riders Championship saw eighteen starters, with only six progress through to the thrilling jump-off on Day 4 at the British Showjumping National & Academy Championships taking place at NAEC Stoneleigh.

It was Suzanne Gill from Shrewsbury who stepped up to the challenge against strong competition aboard 12-year-old Intenable Du Forgeron, known as Ellie at home. Suzanne Gill explained: “My ride was unbelievable!” Suzanne continued: “I’ve had her [Ellie] since she was 6-years-old. I wasn’t planning on entering, I entered late, but it was well worth it!”

Completing the jump-off round in 43.27 seconds, the pair finished in style, followed by Jassy Pyke and Bon Amego in second place, and Katherine James and Isidoor in third.
