The Haddon Training British Grooms Awards 2016

Friday 14 October 2016

How refreshing it has been to see all the media coverage that the amazing grooms who supported the British equestrian team athletes at the Rio Olympic and Paralympic Games receive and quite rightly so as they played such a big part in the overall success of the Team GB and ParalympicsGB equestrian teams.

Haddon Training are once again providing an opportunity for these often unsung heroes of the equestrian industry to be recognised through its sponsorship of the British Grooms Awards that will be presented at the annual British Breeders Awards Dinner in London.

Chris Hewlett, Managing Director of Haddon Training said, “Whilst the media coverage for the British Equestrian Team grooms has highlighted the important role they played in the success of British Equestrian Team in Rio, so many grooms do not receive the acknowledgement they deserve for their hard work and commitment to the equines in their care. Through sponsoring the British Grooms Awards, I hope this provides the backbone of the equine industry the chance to be recognised and rewarded”.
