Team GBR Announced for FEI Nations Cup Final in Barcelona

Today sees the start of the final leg of the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup series which takes place at the Real Polo Club de Barcelona in Barcelona. The show runs 9rd and 11th October.
The team is as follows:
William Whitaker from Huddersfield with Elisabeth Fredlund’s 11 year-old bay gelding Fandango.
Joe Clee who is based in Belgium with Utamaro d’Ecaussines the10 year old bay stallion owned by Ludwig Criel.
Spencer Roe from Lincolnshire with Sally Roe’s 11 year-old bay gelding Wonder Why
Michael Whitaker from Nottinghamshire with Cassionato, a 9 year-old grey stallion owned by Beverley Widdowson.
The event starts at 16.30 local time and, the order-of-go for the opening competition is:
1, Italy;
2, Sweden;
3, Australia;
4, USA;
5, Qatar;
6, Netherlands;
7, Venezuela;
8, Brazil;
9, France;
10, Belgium;
11, Great Britain;
12, Canada;
13, Spain;
14, Germany.
The Final will consist of three competitions. The top eight teams from the opening class will go to the third and final competition whilst the remainder will compete in the Challenge Cup which will be held prior to the Final competition of Saturday.
