Adding to Great Britain’s fantastic second place in the Italian leg of the Meydan FEI Nations Cup series on Friday, the British squad competing in Lisbon, led by Chef d’Equipe Di Lampard, also finished in second place in Sunday afternoon’s
Portuguese Nations Cup.

British pathfinder, Charlotte Platt riding her own Ulien unfortunately retired from the first round. William Funnell riding the Billy Stud’sBritish bred Billy Congo finished with four faults in both rounds, whilst Robert Bevis riding Kate Mustill’s Courtney 6 produced two foot perfect clear rounds, a performance emulated by British anchorman, Tim Stockdale riding Colin Garratt’s Fresh Direct Kalico Bay.
The Netherlands took victory over Great Britain with Italy in third place.
