Tabitha Kyle nets The Stable Company HOYS 138cms Qualifier win at The Harbro Scottish Home Pony

An on-form Tabitha Kyle netted her fourth win in the 2018 summer series of The Stable Company HOYS 138cm at The Harbro Scottish Home Pony at The Scottish National Equestrian Centre riding Playboy Van De Zoetewei.
Twenty-seven riders aimed for the top three Horse of the Year Show qualifying places over course-designer Mark McGowan’s 12-fence track with eleven initially posting clear rounds, these further whittled down to six for an exciting jump-off.
No-one could match Loughborough, Leicestershire-based 11-year-old Tabitha’s efforts on her mother Tanya Kyle’s Belgian-bred 7-year-old Playboy Van De Zoetewei and they galloped to victory with 1.64 seconds to spare.
Three treble clears were produced with Rachel Proudley taking second on her father Paul Proudley’s 14-year-old mare Buttons Two and Owen Carpenter filled third place on John Carpenter’s 8-year-old mare Follow Jazzy Lady.
