Speedi-Beet to celebrate three more years of sponsorship of the HOYS Grade C Championship

British Showjumping is delighted to announce that Speedi-Beet, from British Horse Feeds, will be continuing with their title sponsorship of the British Showjumping HOYS Grade C Championship for a further three year period.

Today’s announcement sees Speedi-Beet mark what will be an eight year association with this popular series, which culminates with the Championship Final at Horse of the Year Show at Birmingham’s Genting Arena. The Speedi-Beet HOYS Grade C Championship Series is for registered horses in Grade C as at the 1st April of the current year and they are to be ridden by an Adult, Associate or Junior member.

Speedi-Beet is a highly nutritious, quick soaking beet pulp feed which is high in fibre and can help to aid rapid rehydration for performance horses whilst optimising energy release rate. This is due to the soluble fibre in Speedi-Beet, which has a high water holding capacity increasing the amount of fluid in the horse’s hindgut. This reservoir can then be drawn upon during prolonged exercise to help replace water lost through sweating.

British Horse Feeds also produce Fibre-Beet, a quick soaking, super-fibre conditioning feed. It is a formulated blend containing all the benefits of Speedi-Beet with added high quality alfalfa for optimum condition and to provide quality protein for muscle tone and function. Fibre-Beet can improve energy intake whilst keeping fibre levels at an optimum to help maintain a healthy gut throughout the stresses of a busy competition season.

Will I’Anson, Sales Director at British Horse Feeds, said “We are delighted to continue our support of the Speedi-Beet HOYS Grade C Championship. The qualifiers attract a large number of competitors and provide an excellent platform for promoting Speedi-Beet as a versatile feed for the competition horse. Investing in event sponsorship is our way of giving something back to the equestrian industry in which we thrive."

Maria Haig, Head of Communications at British Showjumping commented “We are thrilled to be announcing British Horse Feeds continued sponsorship of our HOYS Grade C Championship for a further three years under the name of their flagship product Speedi-Beet. The longevity of our alignment with the team at British Horse Feeds is testament to the fit of their product with this series and we are extremely grateful for their long term support.”

Competitors will have the opportunity to qualify for the Speedi-Beet HOYS Grade C Championship 2017 at the ten direct qualifiers, which will be held during May – August.
