SECOND ROUND QUALIFICATION FOR ALL NATIONAL AMATEUR CLASSES

Friday 15 July 2016

Having reviewed the number of horse/rider combinations currently eligible to compete in any of the height category National Amateur Second Rounds,  the National Sport Committee have made the decision to reduce the number of double clears required.

With immediate effect, any combination who has achieved one double clear within a National Amateur First Round competition will now become eligible to compete in the respective height category Second Round class.

This decision was made after considerable discussion and will allow for an equal number of competitors, as per previous years, to come forward with an objective of securing their chance to compete at the Finals.   The Championships Finals, which are title sponsored by Dodson & Horrell take place at the National Amateur & Veteran Championships and take place between the 16th - 20th November 2016 at the Aintree International Equestrian Centre.
