RECORD CROWDS FLOCK TO TRAINING THE SHOWJUMPING HORSE & RIDER EVENT!

Towerlands Park in Braintree, Essex saw in excess of 750 spectators flood through their gates on Tuesday to watch two of the world’s top showjumping riders share their expertise at The Training the Showjumping Horse & Rider Event hosted by British Showjumping.
Crowds were treated to demonstrations from Peter Charles, former European showjumping Champion and 2009 Team GBR rider, and Billy Twomey, one of Irelands leading International riders. The day gave spectators an insight into their personal training techniques, working with seven of Britain’s most notable talents.
British Showjumping’s Chairman of Training Katrina Moore said
“It’s fantastic to see so many people supporting the event and taking such an active interest in our training programmes. We look forward to building on this event for next year, and would like to thank everybody who has made it possible, especially Peter, Billy and the riders.”
“What a super day!” Commented one spectator “We have thoroughly enjoyed it, not only has it been extremely well run, the demonstrations have been very informative, both Peter and Billy were excellent! We will look forward to the next event with great anticipation”.
