‘Pledge to share your passion for a chance to win exclusive Olympia Tickets’

Riders know all about the physical, emotional and social benefits of spending time with horses and a new pledge launched by the British Equestrian Federation (BEF) is urging them to share their passion through its Hoof participation programme. The BEF is encouraging riders to commit to introducing their non-riding friends to horses via an online pledge. Nominated friends who accept the challenge and share their experience via the website could win an exclusive trip for them and their friend to Olympia, The London International Horse Show.
The pledge follows the rousing BEF campaign called ‘This Girl Can Ride’ which aimed to inspire women (particularly those aged +26) to discover or rediscover their love of horses. Now the BEF is calling on the whole riding community to do their bit and show their passion for horses. Riders must simply identify one or more of their friends who they think could enjoy riding and pledge via www.hoofride.co.uk/pledgetoride
The pledge could include taking their chosen non-horsey friend to visit the stables, take part in a spot of grooming, accompanying them to their first lesson or checking out an equestrian event together. Following completion of the challenge the friends are asked to come back and share their stories, photos and experiences at www.hoofride.co.uk/PledgeStories
From the stories shared by 31st October 2015, one will be chosen to receive two tickets to the Saturday afternoon performance at Olympia, The London International Horse Show (19th December 2015), as well as an exclusive behind the scenes tour!
‘This Girl Can Ride’ is endorsed and supported by Sport England and its popular ‘This Girl Can’ campaign, which aims to get all women and girls moving, regardless of their shape, size or ability. To date the campaign has already captured large audiences, with 13 million people viewing the flagship ‘This Girl Can’ film online.
