Nicole Lockhead Anderson adds another two wins to her belt

Having won the Blue Chip Pony Newcomers Masters yesterday at the British Showjumping National Championships at the NAEC in Stoneleigh with Gangnam Style II, today 15 year old Nicole added both the Pony Silver League 148cm & Under title to her belt with the same horse and also took the Pony Foxhunter Masters title with another ride, Tiernisks Craving Clover owned by Melanie Davies. Nicole is making sure that their long journey down from Aberdeen is made well worthwhile this week and having now done her last class of the show she is looking forward to a well deserved rest tomorrow.
Asked about the secret to her success, Nicole commented: “I have some great ponies, this one [Tiernisks Craving Clover] I only got last weekend. The girl who qualified him unfortunately broke her leg so I was lucky enough to take the ride and have now qualified him for HOYS. He has the biggest heart, a lovely big stride and he just loves to jump. I can’t wait for HOYS.”
