NEW Tri-Zone® Airlite Boots Win BETA Innovation Award

A brand new boot concept in the Tri-Zone® Airlite range was awarded ‘Highly Commended’ in the Innovation Awards at BETA (British Equestrian Trade Association) International Trade Fair.

Each year, BETA International brings the best and brightest new ideas in the equestrian industry together under one roof, allowing the most innovative companies to showcase their developments.  The BETA Innovation Awards celebrate new products that will appeal to the trade and horse owners alike.

As a company who believes in constant product improvement through innovation, the NEW Tri-Zone Airlite Allsports boot is an excellent example of this philosophy in action.

Originally launched in 2008, the concept of the Tri-Zone Allsports boots was an immediate success with horse owners because of its versatility. The innovative design was supported by scientific research and testing in independent laboratories which reassured horse owners that they could have a boot which was highly protective but also lightweight, breathable and flexible.”

Moving forward with Equilibrium’s programme of continuous product improvement, the design of the NEW Tri-Zone® Airlite Allsports boots is evolving to incorporate new technology that has been developed with their suppliers.

The panel of judges which included course designer Ian Stark, event rider Nicola Wilson, veterinary surgeon Tom Beech, Jackie Potts, groom for William Fox-Pitt and former Groom of the Year, and Paralympics gold medal-winning rider Natasha Baker commented, “The boots are tough and well-designed offering a suitable level of protection and a flexible lining moulds nicely around the leg for a comfortable fit. They look very smart and are perfect for any activity requiring leg protection and support.”

Laura Cutter, Marketing Manager at Equilibrium says, “We were delighted to win this award showing that the industry has recognised the importance of a multi-purpose boot with high levels of leg protection balanced against potential negative factors.”

Tri-Zone Airlite:

Tri-Zone Airlite Boots have been designed and developed by EQUILIBRIUM Products, a company dedicated to making products that are of the highest quality, giving you the confidence that your horse is protected and can perform to the best of his ability.

Tri-Zone Airlite Boots, are a highly innovative new range of boots that completely challenges the traditional rigid boot design by providing high protection whilst maintaining lightness, flexibility and breathability.

Unlike other showjumping boots, Tri-Zone Airlite Tendon and Fetlock boots use a triple layer system to provide excellent protection without any impediment or restriction offering an extremely comfortable and lightweight boot. The Tri-Zone Airlite range has been tested in an independent safety laboratory for its ability to reduce concussion and resist penetration using the same test as body protectors and police armour.
