Madison Heath wins the National 138cm Championship Final

At the British Showjumping National Championships held at the NAEC Stoneleigh, Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire, 12 year old Madison Heath put on a great show with her two ponies in the National 138cm Championship Final coming first and third with Sonas Barney and The Jacaloupe respectively. Madison, who travelled down to the show from Cheshire was delighted with her placings: “I have had Sonas Barney for about a year now, he is an incredible pony and I can’t quite believe we have won. Last year he came second by half a second and so I really wanted it this year, it is a great arena to compete in. He does whatever I ask of him.”

Speaking of her second ride, she continued: “The Jacaloupe is also a really great pony and very forward going.  I never imagined I would come first and third, but I knew I could have a chance to win it.  In the future I would love to one day be World number one or compete in the Olympics.”
