Lola Ellis wins the Stepping Stones 128cm Championships Final

The small but mighty ponies thrilled spectators in the Stepping Stones 128cms Championship Final today on day two of the British Showjumping National Championships at the NAEC Stoneleigh, Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire.

Lola Ellis, age 11 from Leicestershire, steamed ahead of the other nineteen riders in the jump off to take the win aboard 10 year-old gelding Elvis Prezzie. “My pony is amazing and I am so happy as it is my last year on him and I have had him for five years. He came to me as a novice pony, he has come a long way and we have grown together. We didn’t know what would happen but we ended up winning here today which is incredible. Our season has been great so far because he is really trying his best for me. I’m going to miss him,” commented Lola.
