LeMieux set to celebrate second year of British Showjumping Pony Team sponsorship

Following a successful first year of sponsorship, British Showjumping is pleased to announce that LeMieux will be continuing their alignment with the British Showjumping Pony Team for a further year. LeMieux has also renewed its official supplier of saddle pads agreement for the NAF Youth and Senior teams competing on horses.

The ponies and riders heading to this year’s Nations Cups and European Championships will compete under the Team LeMieux sponsor banner throughout 2018. The Nations Cup competitions that Team LeMieux will feature at will be Lamprechtshausen in Austria (18th – 21st May) and Wierden in The Netherlands (30th May – 2nd June). The action will then move onto this summer’s European Championships which are being held on home soil at Bishop Burton College during the 7th – 12th August.

LeMieux is now established as the leading manufacturer of saddle pads in the UK and one of the fastest growing equestrian brands in Europe. The latest range of jumping pads has been developed with Scott Brash to precisely fit the cut of modern jumping saddles. The LeMieux product offering for horses extends beyond saddle pads to boots, bandages, fly hoods, headcollars and rugs - widely available through most good retailers or online at www.horsehealth.co.uk.

LeMieux is a firm favourite with a wide cross-section of the country’s top riders, including Jayne Ross and Katie Jerram in Showing, Carl Hester and Charlotte Dujardin in Dressage and Scott Brash in Showjumping, all of whom are ambassadors for the premium competition equipment and have helped shape the company’s range of saddle pads, boots and associated products over recent years.

The input and feedback received from many riders has been instrumental in the development of the LeMieux range and it’s the company’s intention to build on this in 2018. This is one of the reasons why the company’s owners – former Olympic event rider Robert Lemieux and his wife Lisa – were so keen to become a British Showjumping sponsor.

Robert Lemieux commented “We are thrilled to be supporting the British Showjumping Teams for a second year into 2018. We are delighted to have the chance to give something back to the sport and we wish the British the best of luck for the competitions ahead.”

Maria Haig, Head of Communications at British Showjumping added “LeMieux has proven to be a wonderful partner for British Showjumping and their support of the sport is something that is tremendously valuable to us. We are delighted that they have chosen to come on board with the teams for a second year.”
