LAND ROVER APPOINTED AS OFFICIAL VEHICLE SUPPLIER TO EQUESTRIAN TEAM GBR

The British Equestrian Federation is proud to announce Land Rover, the British manufacturer of the world's most versatile SUVs, as 'the Official Vehicle Supplier to Equestrian Team GBR and the World Class Programme'.

The three-year agreement includes the supply of 12 Land Rover Discovery 4s for use across all Team GBR disciplines and for key staff on the World Class Programme. It also includes the supply of a further ten Land Rovers to support the British team at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games later this year.

“We are delighted to welcome Land Rover on board as an official supplier,” comments Will Connell, World Class performance director. “We will be utilising the cars across all of the British Equestrian Teams and they will be an excellent asset as we travel Europe in our quest for success. This is an exciting new partnership and we are very much looking forward to a long association with Land Rover.”

Land Rover UK marketing director, Anthony Bradbury added: "Land Rover has a great affinity with the equestrian world. Our vehicles are perfectly designed to suit the day-to-day needs of Team GBR and the World Class Programme members. We hope that our support and the vehicles' great comfort and effortless driving performance will be a valuable asset to the team's success in Kentucky and for other forthcoming major competitions."

The acclaimed Land Rover Discovery 4 offers a class-leading towing capacity of 3.5 tonnes, a premium cabin fitted with the latest in driver technology, seven seats, a vast load capacity and the new highly-efficient 3.0-litre TDV6 diesel engine which delivers lower CO2 emissions and more than 30 mpg on an EU combined cycle.
