Kingsbarn Equestrian Centre’s young riders present Scott Brash with a present
Tuesday 16 August 2011
Scott Brash was completely lost for words at last weekends Senior British Show Jumping competition held at Kingsbarn Equestrian centre (Falkirk) after he received a new edition to his equestrian stable.
The Peebles born rider didn’t quite know what to do when Erin Cameron, one of the centres young riders and a member of the “Kingsbarnians” presented Scott with Henry, a small dark bay fluffy toy horse, better known as the equestrian centres Mascot.
At 25 Scott, who holds regular training session at the centre, is currently the youngest member of the team selected to represent Great Britain at the FEI European Show Jumping championships in Madrid 13th – 18th September, along with Nick Skelton, Michael Whitaker and Robert Smith.
Erin, whist wishing Scott every success at the upcoming championships on behalf of Kingsbarn, gave Scott strict instructions that Henry must accompany him when he travels to the International event.
Erin said “Henry will remind Scott that we’re all behind him and the team and we wish them every success at the competition - plus Henry’s not been to Madrid yet”.
