KBIS INSURANCE BRITISH NOVICE REGIONAL FINAL

Mark Lawson from Mansfield, Nottinghamshire riding his own 16.3hh, 6 year old, bay gelding Zimmertwirre won the KBIS British Novice regional final at Summerhouse Equestrian Centre, in early June, jumping three superb clear rounds the final one in 39.03 seconds to qualify for the championship. Second place also qualifying for the championship went to Rhiannon Lewis from Newtown, Powys riding her own Calcourt Illicit Liason a 15.1hh, 7 year old bay mare to complete three clear rounds the final one in 39.57 seconds. The third and final qualifying place went to Julie Peake from Dursley, Gloucestershire riding her own aptly named Just for Spot a 16.2hh, 6 year old Appaloosa gelding again completing three clear rounds, the third one in 42.80 seconds.

The first three qualify to compete at the Cushionbed British Showjumping Scope Festival at Stafford County Showground from 29th August to 4th September 2010.
