KBIS BRITISH NOVICE SECOND ROUND AT THE SCOTTISH NATIONAL EQUESTRIAN CENTRE

Ian Warnock from Strathavon, Lanarkshire riding his own 8 year old, 16.3hh bay gelding McKenzie II won and took the first of two qualifying places for the KBIS Senior British Novice championship at the Scottish National Equestrian Centre on 18th July. Three clear rounds, the final one in 44.49 seconds gave this combination the narrowest of winning margins
Second place and the remaining qualifying ticket went to 16 year old Laura Watt from Upperton, Aidrie, Lanarkshire riding her mothers 14.2hh, 8 year old skewbald gelding Flying Colours II who again jumped three clear rounds the final one in 44.51 seconds.
 
Both the above combinations qualified to compete at the Cushionbed British Showjumping Scope Festival to be held at Stafford County showground from 29th August to 4th September 2010.
