Katie Bradburne wins the Squibb Group Pony Bronze League 128cm Final

Nine year old Katie Bradburne produced a performance to be proud of to take the Squibb Group Pony Bronze League 128cm Final at the British Showjumping National Championships held at the NAEC Stoneleigh in Warwickshire.

Riding Cappagh Misty, who is now 28 years old, Katie from Lambourn took the title in a highly competitive class. She commented: “Even though he is 28 he is absolutely full of life and whenever he does a lap of honour he just loves it. I have only had him around four months and when I first got him, like all ponies do, he tried to test me, but now we are working so well together. I love everything about him. It was amazing to win here today!”

The Bronze and Silver Pony/Rider Combination League was introduced by British Showjumping in 2014 and allows all pony riders to be able to track their progress on a regional and national league table. The qualification period runs from the 1st April – 30th June. There are three leagues; Bronze, Silver and Gold and they are split into three height categories of 128cm, 138cm and 148cm.
